1.) Just go for it. If you have an idea or something you are truly passionate about it just start. I know this may seem very basic or simple but the fact of the matter is so many people have great ideas. Their failure comes though from failing to start. Too many times I hear “Oh, I don’t have the finances to start a company right now”. It cost me zero dollars and zero cents the day I started OCTIV Entertainment. It was free to make a Company email and it was free to make a Company Facebook page. That was it, that was the simple start. Once I realized I had accomplished one thing I started to think “what can I accomplish next?” I began to tell those closest to me about my idea and what I wanted to do. Thus this lead to me finding others to work with who had skillsets beyond what I was capable of.
2.) Be deaf to those around you who speak negativity. If I told you 10 years ago that you would have a button on your phone you could press and order for a stranger to come give you a ride you would probably tell me I was crazy. Yet Uber is one of the biggest Companies in the world in today’s age. There will always be those who tell you “You’re idea isn’t good enough” or “someone is already doing something that like that” Well those are the people who aren’t doing anything and aren’t changing the status quo. It’s much easier to look from he outside in and critique something you aren’t doing. Those are the people you have to be deaf to. If you believe in what you’re doing, you have a a passion behind what you’re doing, and you work your ass off you’ll find a way to win.
3.) Work. The harder you work the luckier you will always get. There’s only one sure way to get something you want in life and that is have a relentless desire to achieve what it is you put your mind to. Perseverance: steadfastness in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success. It’s no secret that starting your own brand or company will come with difficulties. The difference in succeeding is being able to jump from one failure to the next without a loss of enthusiasm. You won’t always win at what you do as there will be many growing pains that you go through. The only sure way to lose though is to quit. You can’t beat someone who never gives up. If you truly are passionate about what your doing failure will only inspire you to find a way to succeed.

We are all on a short time clock here on this wonderful place we call Earth. You only have one at-bat. Spend your time going after whatever your mind and heart can dream up. Everyday that passes while you’re not doing something you believe you can do is a day lost. If you want to go for it, now is the time.
